What Possessed Us To Open Wine?

We were headed out to Denver Restaurant Week with friends. We planned a place for dinner and drinks. Why not start with wine at their house before we left???

What Did The Label Want Us To Know?

It tells us it’s a blend and uses words like hedonistic and rebellious to describe the drinkers. Well, I kind of like both of those words, but I’m not heavily either of them. For the wine they use: rustic but refined with sensuous dark fruit flavors. I’m pretty sure hedonistic, rebellious and sensuous do make several people interested in this wine. They list the blend percentages as well: 32% Zinfandel, 25% Petite Sirah, 13% Malbec, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, and 9% Petit Verdot. There’s something for everyone to love in this bottle.

What’s So Great About It?

It was really dark, which I mostly love. Scott said it was smooth with no aftertaste. David thought it had a round mouth feel. Ellen thought it went well with the meatballs she was serving us. I almost detected a hint of chocolate.

Someone Else’s More Qualified Opinion:

Conversation This Wine Engendered:
