Wine Ratings
Wine Ratings System Explained.
When we review the best red wines and the best white wines and give wine recommendations, we provide a simple 5-point system. Wines with 3 Corks and over are considered to be above-average. Wines with 4 Corks and over mean that the wine is very good and is in the top fifteen percent of all wines that we taste.
Please note that we do not take the price of a wine into consideration. Unless otherwise specified, our wine recommendations and wine reviews are written by Southwest Wine Guide and are subjective and based on our own personal experiences.
