ANCIENT PEAKS WINERY - Ancient Peaks Winery is a family owned single Estate vineyard. The grapes are grown on Margarita Vineyard, which is Sustainability in Practice (SIP) certified. The vineyard is in the historic Santa Margarita Ranch. Vines were first planted by Franciscan missionaries in 1774. The name, Ancient Peaks is a tribute to the geologic heritage of Margarita Vineyard, with towering mountains overlooking the vines. The ancient forces behind these peaks gave rise to the fossilized soils and climate-shifting terrain, making these wines unique.
