The Eagle's song lures us there, but it is the fabulous food at the Turquoise Room, incredible art and quaint but comfortable accommodations at the historic La Posada that keeps us coming back.

The trains pass through this historic railroad town every 15 minutes - but luckily, they no longer sound the wailing whistle as they pass through. But one of the highlights of staying at La Posada is sitting back and watching the trains go by. Don't miss the portraits of all the celebrites who stayed at the hotel, and don't miss the impressive entrance as approached from the tracks!

Wine ... they have it all. Plus, Chef John Sharpe is all about organic, using the finest and freshest from local farms(really). Truly the best restaurant in northern AZ. LaPosada | The Turquoise Room

La Posada

We love historic places and would rate this as a MUST for anyone who wants an Arizona get-away! La Posada is charming and The Turquoise Room rivals any foodies tastes. The Squash Blossom appetizer is something I would stop back to enjoy even just passing by!! John Sharpe was on hand to make sure everyone enjoyed their dinners and signed a copy of his cookbook which also contains memorable photos and stories of La Posada.
