What Possessed Us To Open Wine?
It was Easter, which is a blend of a pagan holiday, the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus and the perfect excuse to indulge in chocolate eggs. A blended wine was in order.
What Did The Label Want Us To Know?
Summation is a red wine blend and describes itself as “smoother than Cabernet Sauvignon, richer than Merlot, more balanced than Zinfandel,” which I am assuming are the grapes represented in the blend. The descriptors they use are: roasted coffee, dark chocolate, pomegranate and black cheery. They also use the word “multi-layered” which I think is a good choice.
What’s So Great About It?
Jess said she thought it was kind of nutty. Kevin thought it tasted a lot like Menage a Trois, which is also a blend wine of those three grapes. Melyssa said it was a nice blend. I thought it was possibly drier than other blends, which is always good with me.
Fantasy This Wine Engendered?
My life is a perfect blend of all the good things and all the right things and all the fun things I can do. I never run out of time to do them and each is perfectly synchronized. Somehow I thought adulthood would be this way. Sigh.
Conversation This Wine Engendered?
When I die, all have voiced the opinion that David will live on a boat.
Easter Service is the one service in which I truly desire to sing.
Matt will not do Facebook because of the time suck (college student).
