What Possessed Us To Open Wine?

Impromptu New Years Eve Dinner with friends who we like, so we brought out this wine. We have been saving it both because we really like it and also because we have friends who live in Washington State near this vineyard. If you buy this wine in Washington, you have to pay a certain tax, so we got it cheaper in Colorado than they can at home. This makes me smile.

What Did The Label Want Us To Know?

The Indian Wells series is fruit forward, which means that they are pushing fruit on me? They are fruit-pushers? It also says it is a mouth-filling style. It’s good, so I will gladly fill my mouth with it! Indian Wells appears to be an area. It mentions blackberry and black cherry flavors.

What’s So Great About It?

Melyssa said that even though she is my “weenie wine drinking friend,” she really liked it. David said full-bodied and really good. Kevin took a picture of it with his iPhone for later buying info. Everyone was happy.

Fantasy This Wine Engendered:

I live in Washington State where there is an abundant of great wineries, but somehow I am exempt from their tax! In fact, since this is a fantasy, I might as well get a 50% discount off of all wine purchased in Washington! And this discount is offered to me just because I am so charming and wonderful. And then Bill Gates steps in and because of the kindness of his heart, he decides that he will donate to Washington wineries so that we all get another 20% off of their wine. This fantasy is going really well, then I remember I am an Apple user and the bubble bursts.

Conversation This Wine Engendered:

Leadership consulting is going well even in this economy because businesses are forward thinking?

Singing does not equal worship

It’s a small Malbec world after all
