Chasing Wine

It is often the way in life that nothing goes strictly according to plan. Such is the case with myself. I had hoped to write about Cava before the run up to Christmas and the new year, but things conspired against me and nothing was written.

However, I have not been idle during this time, and I have contacted a Cava House which has connections with El Mas Roig and hope to bring you some sparkling news and information in time for spring. Just in time for you to buy and try some on a sunny afternoon or in the longer evenings just relaxing.

There are also some more local Cellers with lots of history and very good wines lined up, not forgetting the annual Wine Fair in Falset. Only this year, I will have more Cellers to taste and comment on.

You can order from the Cellers online - I will give you the web details - so you can try the wines of the region and enjoy them as I do.

This year we will be travelling round the various regions and into Bordeux; I'm begining to feel like Keith Floyd, a man after my own heart and an excellent chef so sad he's no longer with us.

So on with the chase - CHEERS!!
