Beauty & The Grape in Old Town Cottonwood

Old Town Cottonwood has become a great place for those interested in trying Arizona wines. There is the Pillsbury tasting room and right across the street is AZ Stronghold. But for the ultimate in wine tasting experience, I recommend The Vineyard Bistro Wine Bar & Shop.

It is just a few doors away from the AZ Stronghold room and is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful bars in Northern Arizona. It reminds one of a Speak Easy: pressed copper ceiling, 30 foot long triple arched wooden bar and a set of very intimate booths.

The Vineyard serves tastings of Granite Creek and Alcantara wines. They also have a wide variety of Arizona and Non-Arizona wines by the glass. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable and I have fallen in love with Granite Creek wines, thanks to them!

There is also Craft beer and one can purchase wine and beer to take home. Which is so great! When you fall in love with a wine, you don't have to go searching everywhere to purchase it.

Must also mention the V Bar Snax. A highly addictive mix of wasabi peas, salty peanuts and caramel corn. But try to control yourself, because they have delicious Artisan pizzas and a full tapas menu.

Since discovering The Vineyard, I have been back several times. I guess that says it all...
