Owners Ron and Marge Izzo have carved out a niche market designed to bring their love of horses and the beautiful and rugged desert landscape together with the ever increasing popularity of Southern Arizona Vineyards.

Located in Sonoita, the wine tasting rides are available daily with a visitor’s choice of a two or three hour ride. Horseback Riding Arizona is for both experienced and novice riders. The well mannered and well cared for animals know their trails and are the perfect Arizona wine guides! And the human tour guide who accompanies the riders will share true stories about the American west as they travel through canyons, grasslands and rolling hillsides.

The ride ends at Sonoita Vineyards, where a generous wine tasting is included along with a bottle of wine, a commemorative wine glass and lunch, all while overlooking the spectacular Mustang Mountains.

No need to worry about “drinking and riding” afterwards. Both the riders and the horses are transported back in vehicles after the visit to the vineyard.
